The Ludus Latrunculorum is a board game that can be played by one or more players. The game is based on a simple set of rules that are applied to a simple set of elements. In this way, the game can be considered an ancestor of chess and checkers, and the rules are lost.
The elements of the board game are represented by a king and pawns. The king can move in any direction, and the pawns can move in a straight line either horizontally or vertically. Each of the players has a set of elements that can be moved one step at a time. The players can move their pieces in one direction or the other. The goal is to capture all of the opponent's pieces or to block the opponent's king on 4 sides. If the player is able to block the king on 4 sides, he or she wins the game.
